Simply put, a Chiller system is what makes and keeps the water cold. The Chiller system is optional for those who already have a way to cool the water, for example, if you prefer to use ice.
The Chiller System has 3 different power options (0.6, 0.8. 1.0 HP). For your convenience, a chart outlining the differences has been provided. See What's the Difference Between Cooling Systems in the next paragraph.
