Golden Designs has 3 different sauna types: infrared, traditional, and hybrid.

Traditional saunas use a stove, or a heater, which warms up the air around it. These saunas are sometimes called steam saunas because users will apply water to the rock which then produces steam. 

Infrared saunas use invisible infrared heat. While you cannot see it, you can feel it. An infrared sauna heats up more rapidly compared to traditional saunas and has a bit of a different feel to it. These saunas are quite popular in modern times, considering the long existence of saunas, or more specifically, traditional saunas. 

Hybrid saunas, are well, just as you may have guessed; a combination of both infrared and traditional.
