- Authorized resellers: the price we'll be matching must be from a seller who is legally and rightfully authorized to sell saunas by Golden Designs.
- Minimum retail prices: all authorized resellers have been instructed, provided documentations, and are required to advertise Golden Designs products at certain minimum price points. Sauna Assembly & Installation
While the assembly process will take a minimum of 2 people, we're not joking when we say it's possible to assemble 2-person units in 45-minutes. Larger units may take more time and require an extra person, but our saunas are made with you in mind for DIY sauna assembly.

FAQs
What should I expect for shipping?
- Cost: $0.00 or free shipping with your order.
- Where: We currently only ship to the lower 48 or continental United States. Shipping to Canada is not being offered at this time. Orders ship from California.
- Time frame: Order ship from Southern California. If you live relatively close to California, once in transit, it usually takes 2-3 business days. East coast shipments generally take 7-business days.
- Semi-truck: Your sauna will ship using freight shipping. If you think a semi-truck may have issues accessing your shipping address, then please be sure to contact us at sales@GoldenDesignSaunas.com before placing an order.
What temperature should I expect?
- Infrared saunas: Max temperature of 140 °F to 150 °F and takes about 20 minutes to fully warm up.
- Traditional saunas: Max temperature of 185 °F and takes about 35 minutes to fully warm up.
Note: external temperatures such as cold weather will may affect the time needed for the sauna to be completely heated, similar to a cold vehicle in the winter.
Do you provide installation?
This is not a service we provide at this time. However, the vast majority of our customers are able to easily assemble their saunas with 2 people, and larger saunas sometimes require 3 people.
As for the electrical side of things, many of our saunas are plug-n-play and use 110v. Please consult an electrician for non-110v units and any other electrical concerns you may have.
Can the sauna be outdoors? Or my garage?
Saunas can go inside your garage, and it does not matter if your garage is heated, but your garage should provide protection to weather elements. Please note we have a dedicated collection of outdoor saunas that are built to withstand Mother Nature.
Can I put the sauna on carpet?
Indoor saunas can be placed on any flat surface, including carpet.

Well designed, easy assembly, works great, looks great.
I am so happy I finally purchased an in-home sauna. Worth every penny. Went together very easy with no more than a drill/screwdriver and a ladder (to attach the electrical cords on top). It took about 90 mins to unpack and assemble . We were relaxing in a hot sauna in less than 2 hours. The assembly instructions were pretty clear and all the cords were labeled for easy attachment. I agree with another review that said the glass is the heaviest piece. The hardest part was carrying the pieces from the garage to the room where it was setup. Heats up to 120 in about 20 minutes. I have not gone much higher in temp yet but it doesn’t seem like it would be an issue. Took 2 adults to setup. We needed a third adult for a short time to hold the front panel in place as we put the sides on (though we probably could have done this with just the 2 of us). The color therapy is wonderful (great range of color), and I was very impressed with the speakers. Connected via Bluetooth to my phone and the sound was loud and clear. I originally purchased a different model that had a window on the side, but when I was notified shipping was delayed, I switched to this model. I don’t miss the window at all. Enough leg room to fit a grown man who is over 6 feet tall. Great feature to have temp control outside and inside. Only wish I could control the color change from the control panel. The remote controls the color and with 2 young kids in the house, remotes go missing very easily.
shipped fast, and i put it together with a little help from my wife in about 2 hours. make sure to get a 20 amp to 15 amp converter plug if you plan to go right into a wall socket. haven't checked the actual draw, but hasn't blown a breaker yet.
